Like it or not, it seems like the iPhone 4G leak, or rather, mishap for a certain employee in Apple, IS the real deal. According to Gizmodo, the iPhone 4G that was found at a bar has been with them for a week now and they have done some very detailed research. It was found by a customer of the pub. When he was just playing around with the device, hoping to return it to its original owner, he came across a Facebook application and when he opened it, it showed an account of Gray Powell, a Software Engineer that works in Apple. He didn’t think much of it at that time because it was so cleverly camouflaged in an iPhone 3GS casing and obviously because he was tipsy, but he woke up the next day and realized that there was something wrong with the phone. Unfortunately, through MobileMe, the phone’s data have been wiped out so the guy just removed the casing and voila! A shiny (and not so pretty I might add), iPhone 4G.
